What's it all about?

The government, in order to encourage more commuting by bike, have created a tax break that gives you huge savings on a bike hired from your employer.

You simply agree to forego a small amount of your salary, usually on a monthly basis, in order to take advantage of income tax, national insurance and generally, VAT savings

What are the benefits?

Huge savings on the cost of a new bike and safety equipment (helmets, lights and lock etc)

Spread costs over a year and save income tax, national insurance contributions and usually VAT.

How much can I save?

Savings are usually 41 - 50% off suggested retail price.
